Clash & Burn
After reading the Godsland series I was hoping for more of the same humanity in the writing, and looking for a bit more polish in the storytelling. Instead the various story lines were more tangled and hard to follow and the narrative is constantly galloping off into yet another epic battle against absurdly impossible odds. I'd have to say it's a somewhat interesting time waster.
Had potential
I am guessing some of the 5 star reviews were from family/friends. In my opinion this book needs some time on the editors desk. Events happen for no reason and critical events are hardly mentioned.
