Publisher Description

The government massed its forces like never before last Thursday and managed to squish the opposition effort to make its protests graphically visible. The government managed to stifle the protest with a massive presence and lots of tear gas and truncheons. There were no reports of any deaths from either The opposition had wanted to march right onto the government's stage at Azadi Square and make its anger heard through chants and seen by presenting a wall of green. The government accepted the opposition challenge and focused on confronting the opposition on the approaches to Azadi Square.
