King Vaile is finally back by my side, but the war is far from over. With only a few months until our daughter is born, it’s more important than ever to end King Eston’s reign and free the breeders. However, Vaile is still recovering from Eston's torture, making him reluctant to address his responsibilities.

 

Despite all I have done to fight against my half-brothers, the Azurin citizens continue to distrust me. They accuse me of being in league with the Bastran royals, who have done nothing but try to destroy us.

 

When Eston begins to regain his losses from our previous battles, putting Vaile’s brothers in imminent danger, my husband knows what we must do. It is time to join the fight, and despite the increasing risks, I refuse to leave his side.
