Enjoyable
I read the last book in this series and found some of the references confusing, so I decided to read the first book and get the lay of the the land. I found the origin story compelling and came to root for the characters. The problems they encountered were interesting and I was eager to see how they would be overcome. I look forward to reading the rest of the series.
