Mars, 1936. The Jazz Age meets the Space Age. The planets of the inner solar system have been colonized using the special properties of Tri-Crystals to power rockets, rayguns, and much more.  

When some artificial-and highly unstable-crystal appears on the Martian black market, indigenous A.E.G.I.S. officer Sinari Vohn is plucked from the ranks to investigate.  

And her first command may well be her last.

With a handpicked team consisting of a Terran criminal, a Venusian mob enforcer, a gorilla scientist, and an alien robot, she must solve the mystery of the volatile crystals, and face a sinister new player on the alien frontier: the Third Reich!
