This book had everything! Second chance romance after a devastating breakup, an assault victim with amnesia trying to restart her life, an evil stalker lurking about, and plenty of heat to go around.
What a brilliant story you must read
What a fantastic book! When Clementine Johns loses her memory after an accident she tries to piece together who she was and it all starts with a tattoo shop. Ed Larson lost someone he loved once. So imagine his surprise when his ex walks into his tattoo shop with no memory! Can they figure out what happened to her? This is a beautifully told story of how amnesia effects not only the victim but everyone around them. I felt for Clementine trying to find her new self & the strength she had. I have a major crush on Ed!
When Clem shows back up in Ed’s life after a bad breakup he is not inclined to do anything but get her back out the door. The problem is Clem no longer remembers him or what happened between them. After an attack she has amnesia, and some significant changes to her personality. Clem is on a mission to find out as much as she can about her previous self, and circumstances keep putting her together with Ed. Pretty quickly she develops feelings for Ed, but he is struggling with how much she hurt him. I had the mystery figured out from the beginning, but the story still kept me engaged. I enjoyed it.
