Andy reluctantly agrees to defend Kramer, but it won't be easy, especially when a knife isn't found at the crime scene. It looks like a setup or maybe a hit gone wrong, and Andy's digging soon puts him in the crosshairs of some very bad people. Andy is an affable, funny narrator, and his Nick and Nora like banter with Laurie, a highly capable ex-cop, leavens the dark deeds they uncover. Series fans and newcomers alike will have fun. Absolutely wonderful page turner!
Rosenfelt does it again!
I recently finished the latest David Rosenfelt novel, “Rescued”. Loved it!! The only problem I have with these novels featuring Andy Carpenter and all the other great characters is that they are too short!! Or maybe I just read too fast. I tried to slow down so that it would take longer to get to the conclusion but was unsuccessful. I highly recommend this series to people who love a little humor with their suspense....and dogs too!! Who doesn’t love dogs?! (And if you don’t love dogs, don’t come to my house!)
