Is there an editor in the house?
This book has a pretty good story line and appealing characters, but could really benefit from some stringent editing. There are typos to correct, but the biggest issue is poor word choice, awkward phrasing, and improper use of homophones.
It was ok
The book was ok. Not my style of writing. Repeating facts as filler info, spoke mostly in narrating form, no real meat to context of story. Not continuing with series or this author.
Not impressed
The story was too drawn out, too much repeating of thoughts, and took too long to get to any action. I started skimming and only reading the quotes. Won’t be reading another book by this author.
