Publisher Description
"You're not worthy of a single sniff of her, and I'm not in the mood to give second chances. Let her go before I annihilate each and every single one of you." -Blaide
Liz
As a rare kitsune omega, Liz keeps her three mischievous tails out of trouble by working at a library on a beta populated planet, but when she hears of an Empyre attack on her beloved Nana's home, she hops on a transporter, willing to put herself in danger to lure her grandmother to safety. Except, when she lands on the chaotic planet, she ignores signs of her heat until it's too late. Surrounded by evil alphas, she prays for a savior.
When a massive, furry beast with cold eyes and sharp claws saves her, she's captivated by his scent yet terrified of his size.
Her werewolf savior asks for only one thing in return.
To claim her.
Blaide
After years as a soldier, Blaide seeks solace on the quiet, scarcely populated planet of Jun'Gale, until the enemy he fought for years threatens his haven. Unable to ignore those in need, he leads the nearby townsfolk to safety behind city walls, except before he can return to the wilderness, an alluring scent pulls him into an alley.
His protective instincts flare like never before as he meets the gorgeous, curvy little fox's eyes. She's too sweet and innocent for the mongrels of the city and too perfect for a battle-hardened warrior like himself.
When her tails wrap around his, he's a goner.
He needs her. Forever.

Quick and Juicy
This is one of the most tender and exciting books that I’ve read in a while as a LOT happened in under 200 pages. I genuinely enjoyed the dynamic between Liz and Blaide as their story/ connection seemed to grow from a place of need and appreciation - as opposed to relying on their bond. As for the spice - honey, I had to clutch my pearls. The planets and characters were created with such vivid imagery that I only longed for a rounder ending to the story. It ends as a HFN and a prelude to another characters story. I would have given this a 4 for that reason; however, there is a bonus download that gave me the HEA vibe and tied their story up a bit more in the end.
Also - shout out to the best supporting role of the tails (lol) - their involvement in the story as an extension of the characters was also endearing when sprinkled in.
I received a free copy of this book via Booksprout and am voluntarily leaving a review.
Such a sweet alpha
I loved this book! Blaide was such a sweet alpha! Deadly but sweet. I love how protective he was, but how he also understood that Liz needed to save her grandma. So he took her on the trek, knowing he would protect her. And I loved Liz! She was so determined to be there for her grandma. Thankfully she ran into Blaide so he could help, but she did so much as well. This was such a well balanced couple and I loved seeing how their connection grew. Absolutely recommend this series!
I did receive an ARC from Booksprout and this is my honest opinion.
