These essays were all written about experiences of Life in Empire. They were written out of anger, love, and hope. They were written in solidarity, laughter, frustration, and pain. They were written because in order to build the future that is healthy for us all, we need to look at what the past has wrought, and how the present operates. Simple. Yet hard. These essays were written in love and solidarity, and in hopes of a better world to come. Can you see it? Can you feel it? Can you hear it? Can you taste it?

Love matters.
