THE STATUTORY POWER TO TRANSFER OBJECTS FROM COLLECTIONS The Holocaust (Return of Cultural Objects) Act 2009 enables certain institutions in the United Kingdom to relinquish Holocaust-related material. So much is plain from the heading to section 2 of the Act, which reads "Power to return victims' property".
