This is a mess.
This book is a meandering, repetitive mess. The main character is boring, dull-witted, and ultimately unlikeable. If this book is what the author considers “publishable shape”, he needs to consult an actual literary editor. The ideas at the core of the story aren’t terrible but they’re also not terribly original.
