Libba, Ellison’s BFF since infant hood, has always seemed to be the life of the party, a blase (if you will) modern woman flitting through life without a care. Who knew that that c’est la vie attitude covered such a dark, heart-wrenching secret kept for years from even her nearest and dearest? And why, when she is at her happiest time in decades, would it show up in Ellison’s backyard?!? Will those secrets finally come out? Will Charlie ever forgive her? Will Pansy succeed in her destruction of the entire landscape if the neighborhood? Enquiring minds want (and need) to know! So much is packed into this Novella…it is quite the testament to Julie Mulhern’s talent as a writer! Thoroughly enjoyed this new installment of the Country Club Murders…cannot wait for more!
