Publisher Description

PER CURIAM: Appellant seeks reversal of the trial court's denial of his motion to suppress evidence obtained as a result of a warrantless search. Further, appellant argues that the trial court erred in holding that the search was consensual, and therefore, a recognized exception to the warrant requirement of the Fourth Amendment. In the alternative, appellant contends that the search was unreasonable and thereby prohibited by the Fourth Amendment. We disagree. The trial court properly denied appellant's motion to suppress evidence, as appellant voluntarily consented to a search of his bag. We find that the search was reasonable and we accordingly affirm the trial court's ruling. I.
