Righteous Victory

Competition and greed are temptations which lead to corruption and deception, if left unchecked. As we search for power and status, what are we willing to sacrifice? Are we willing to sacrifice our dignity and honor just to win? Victory is only valuable when we know we earned it righteously, and we didn’t compromise our morals in order to obtain it. We must accept our defects and shortcomings, even when they hurt our fragile egos. Developing on ourselves, so that we can uplift our community is the real victory. This work may not be recognized but it is necessary. This is the work of the noble. Precious victory.
