Rima - Guide to the Walser Village and Its Trails

I spent half my life in these mountains and I can say I was fortunate to live my “Into the Wild”, made up of special people, silences and adventures.

Thanks to the my work as a ranger in the Natural Park of “Alta Valsesia” and being a photographer, I’ve had the opportunity to discover every corner of this region that, more than once, has proven to be a magical and special place, of those that remain in the heart.

In this book I selected places and information that I myself would like to find when I set out on a journey to new and unknown places. So, here you’ll find brief introductions on history, architecture, art, tradition and nature as well as nine routes, complete with maps, to help you discover this little gem at the foot of Monte Rosa.
