In the past, a meteor struck the planet with such devastation that it wiped out the dinosaurs. In the present another one strikes the planet with such ferocity that it nearly wipes out the human race. From the ashes of the terrible destruction comes man, ready to rediscover himself.
Religion reemerges as it is reinvented. For one group of people, finding the ancient propaganda of a hateful man, their religion becomes a prejudicial driving force to commit genocide on a neighboring, peaceful people. One man, even more twisted than his religion, pushes the Aryans onto a destructive path that turns their talk and ideology into action and blood.
As a new, yet timeless evil is born, so is man taken back to a simpler time of agriculture without the interference of contemporary technology. The Lakemen are happy to just work and exist, love and prosper.
The third group of people sharing the adjacent lands is the Krossians. Little is known about them other than they are traders and are in touch with other people not inhabiting the valley.
