Rise to Freedom

The story of a black British woman of Afro Caribbean descent and her search to live a life of freedom. It reveals the internal and external battles she encountered and her courage to walk away from aspects of her culture and the religion that shaped and formed her belief system from an early age. If it appears, that we constantly experience the same old hurt and pain, then a true sense of Self may need to be regained. From the way we were nurtured to society’s demands, belief patterns we create that in the subconscious mind become ingrained. Life desires the best so presents opportunities again and again, for us to forgive, to release guilt, shame and blame. Life wants for us to acknowledge all of the self-limiting traits, let them go and in their place, create affirmations that will initiate new growth for what we desire, in our lives, to live authentically, that’s the positive change.
