Griffin Beach has it all. Smoking-hot bod? House in the Hollywood Hills? A film role that’s about to launch him into box office superstardom? Check, check, and check.

When his dog sitter leaves him in the lurch, Griffin turns to Alice, the woman who’s never seemed to like him but LOVES his dog. Alice has her doubts about the womanizing actor, but with eviction imminent she can’t afford to reject Griffin’s offer to move in.

Attraction was never supposed to be part of the arrangement, but the gravitational pull between them proves too strong to resist.

Can Alice let her guard down and learn to trust again? Can Griffin stop trying to please everyone else long enough to show Alice how he feels? And when he’s forced to choose between Alice and his career, will he risk it all to keep her in his life?

RISING STAR is a standalone story set in the same universe as FALLEN STAR, featuring a brand new couple with their own happy ending. The books in this series can be read in any order.

I agree with Straighttalker 198 This book is so boring it should not be given away for free. So far this year I have read over 100 books and this is the only one that’s hard for me to finish. The people who left good reviews must be friends with the author , publisher or both I don’t know I do know that this book was not romantic or humorous. One star is to many but it want let me send my review without it.

Not worth it the guy was a tool. The girl didn’t even finish her dissertation or whatever she went to school for. She let a perverted teacher stop her, she didn’t even have a job!! Got bored real fast. The author spent so much time trying to build the foundation for the characters but really rushed the ending.
