Fantastic and Excellent Conclusion

Rising (Slay Quartet #4) is such a fantastic, emotional and angsty conclusion to an epic series. The fact that Laurelin Paige managed to change my mind about Celia Werner Fasbender, one of the most hated villains ever created, completely astounds me. She and Edward (an irresistible sexy devil who I loved to hate) evolved into the most incredible, memorable and amazing couples that I’ve ever read. And their wild, steamy and panty melting sexy times are still lingering in my mind!

Ms. Paige does a flawless job of tying up all the loose ends and giving closure to all the characters from all aspects. Rising truly ended on such a beautiful high note and I definitely recommend reading it as well as the series.

One of My Favorite Series!

Slay Four: Rising is the final book in a series I absolutely loved! Celia is a villainess character from the Fixed series, and I didn’t want to like her. I imagined (hoped) karma would find its way to put Celia in her place. She met Edward who matched her in his own level of evil. I wasn’t sure if they hated or loved one another. The entire series is full of twists and learning a little bit more about Celia and Edward’s back stories. In the end, Celia is so worthy to have her own story.

The Slay story may be read as it’s own series. But, it’s much more fun to understand the connection of Celia, Hudson and the other characters from the Fixed series. #laurelinpaige #ichooseyou #Slayseries #CeliaandEdward #thegamecontinued #mastermind

This finale is fantastic!

It takes real talent in writing to take one of the most hated characters in Ms. Paige's arsenal and make them redeemable, memorable, and admirable.

That's exactly what Ms. Paige has done with this series and with this final story in the Slay series.

This final story of Celia and Edward brings closure and peace between them and against their adversaries.  Justice is served to those who deserve it.

The evolution of Celia and Edward's relationship has always been a winding road with bumps along the way. But to see both of them overcome their pasts and move forward into the future was riveting and I couldn't put down this story until the very end.

This series was amazing and I was so happy with the ending.  It was perfect!
