Who doesn’t love Naked Men? In Christi Barth’s irresistible series, a group of close-knit friends talk out their problems with naked honesty on a popular blog. Bonded by a high-school tragedy, they’re moving on from the past—and fighting for the future with strong and sassy women.
Griffin Montgomery helps people. As a teenager, he kept his best friends alive after their soccer team’s bus crashed in the Alps. Now, as a Coast Guard search and rescue pilot, he saves lives with reckless abandon—until he goes too far and earns a lengthy suspension. Working on the Naked Men projects keeps his mind busy, but Griff’s itching to get back in the action. That’s when he finds his latest rescue mission: a pretty wallflower who’s stuck in her comfort zone.
Chloe Widmore doesn’t take risks. As a professional letter writer, she gets enough excitement out of expressing other people’s emotions. So when the hottest man she’s ever seen invades her coffee shop, Chloe surprises herself with how much she wants to be with him. Routines make her feel safe. Griff makes her deliciously unsafe, in so many ways. But falling for him is one risk she might just have to take . . . whether she’s ready or not.

great story
Griff is one hot complicated alpha male. He sees what he wants and goes for it. Until he over thinks things. Then he's not sure what to do. He is always thinkng of other people. So glad his best friends make him see what he needs to do.
Chloe is one strong woman. She has a lot of personal baggage. She is drawn to Griff. She's not sure why Griff attracted to her. But she is willing to lay it all on the line and see where things go. Loved this story. Can't wait to read more. Received an ARC from Netgalley for an honest review
Captivating!
This was a great start to a new series that follows five young men who ten years earlier had bonded together through tragedy. When they survived a terrible bus crash, in the middle of the Italian Alps, on their way to an International soccer tournament. Stranded, injured and with no protection from the bitter cold they set out to save themselves. As a way to stay close these five young men start a blog as a way to communicate to one another as they head off to different colleges. Their blog is named "Naked Men"
This is the first Christi Barth story that I have read and it definitely will not be my last. I was mesmerized by this story from beginning to the end. It had great lovable main characters in Griffin Montgomery and Chloe Widmore. As well as great secondary characters that add so much to the storyline, as we get to know a little bit about these five men and how they are living their lives. Can't wait to know more when each of them have their own story.
Griffin is a coast guard pilot now, who thrives on rescuing people in danger, like he did ten years ago on that mountain. He is also known to take risks to save lives. But after a close call as he battled the storm at sea, and a young boy that was rescued made a video tape and put it up on social media, he is grounded by his Commander. Chloe writes letters for a living, working at Busboys and Poets, she comes here to use the space. But as she sets out her laptop, pens and pencils and gets ready to start writing, she hears clapping and sees a ruggedly, handsome, blond man enter the coffee shop.
Chloe captures his attention, and when he starts a conversation with her, she pushes all his buttons. He is fascinated by her letter writing gig, her sexy sass, and her curves, asking her out on a date. Although she thinks he has a God complex with a side of dangerous competitiveness, he was Hot, and utterly masculine. The ignition of their chemistry deserved to be classified as fast. The air between them at dinner sizzled. And when he kissed her, it was the Hottest kiss she'd ever experienced. He was exactly what she was looking for, sweet, funny, sexy as sin, smart and fearless.
But they both have secrets and what will happen when these secrets come out. You will have to read to find out. Loved it. Well written and captivating.
Highly recommended.

A Good Start to A New Series
This is the first book I’ve read by Christi Barth. I love the premise for her Naked Men series: High school soccer teammates who faced tragedy together forge an even stronger bond with each other. They create a blog, Naked Men, and decide to talk out their problems online and share them with other men. This book is about Griffin Montgomery and Chloe Widmore
The book starts with a Prologue, 10 years in the past, which tells you about the tragedy that Griff and his teammates experienced.
Chloe and Griff meet at a coffee shop that she uses as an office where she writes letters – for other people; she is a professional letter writer. He’s the hottest guy she’s ever seen and is surprised when he comes over to talk to her.
Griff is a reluctant hero. He recently made a successful, daring rescue just doing his job as a Coast Guard helicopter pilot. When everyone in the coffee shop but Chloe applauds him, his is intrigued and goes over to talk to her.
Thus begins their relationship.
I enjoyed this book very much. The dialogue is witty and flows well. I want to meet Chloe and Griff – especially Griff. OMG – the letter that Griff writes to Chloe late in the book! I can’t quote it because I read an unproofed, advanced copy, but take my word for it Griff is the kind of guy most any woman would love to meet and fall for.
Both Griff and Chloe have things to overcome before they get their HEA but every word made this an enjoyable journey for me to take with them.
Ms. Barth does an excellent job of giving readers just enough information about Griff’s teammates to whet our appetites. I definitely want to read their stories but this one stands alone with no problem.
