Rituals and Celebrations

'Rituals and Celebrations' is a spiritual Earth-centred guide for individuals and groups. It draws on the Celtic seasonal festivals and other green rituals and ceremonies, including ones for everyday life, Nature prayers and poetry, reflective awareness exercises, rites of passage, songs for gatherings, and other activities for joining together and being moved and changed by the natural world and her awesome beauty.

The book is specifically for those seeking to reconnect with Nature, honour life's transitions and to celebrate our living Earth. Each of the eight chapters covers a wonderful selection of ideas and brings together a wealth of contributions from ecospiritual writers and GreenSpirit members, making the anthology an inspiring book for our current times and the future of how we interrelate with other species and Earth, of which we are all a unique part.

ABOUT THE COMPILERS

Marian Van Eyk McCain is a co-editor of GreenSpirit magazine, and the editor of 'GreenSpirit: Path to a New Consciousness'. Joan Angus has been a member of GreenSpirit for over twenty years, and is the compiler of  'Anthology of Poems for GreenSpirits'.
