 Very interesting to read what was going on in the minds of all these critical players, who helped and hindered the end of WWII.
Worth Reading
Anyone is is under the impression that the atomic bombs were necessary to end the war with Japan needs to read this.
Also brings out that the civilian leadership in the US wasn’t always getting the truth from the military, i.e. “precision bombing” was a myth.
