Causes tingles every time I read
Rocco, a New York City police detective, witnesses Guinevere, a house maid, being pursued into an alley one day with his new partner. As the story progresses one crisis is slightly averted, after meeting her family his attention is diverted, and if he decides incorrectly he could fail to be alerted. E.M. Shue has a way with overprotective males that causes tingles every time I read one of her books and Rocco’s Atonement is no different. This spinoff of the Caine & Graco Saga left me wanting to read more.

Fantastic Read
Rocco falls for Guinevere instantly when he saves her from an attacked. Guinevere's home life is tragic but when Rocco steps in to help her, she falls him. Their journey is incredible but they have few bumps along the way. And their ending is perfect for them.
Loved Rocco
Rocco is a cop who stumbles across Guinevere being attacked. Rocco feels something for her from that first meeting and doesn’t understand why he can’t let go of her case. Guinevere is living in fear of her family and any and all involvement with Rocco makes it worse. Can Rocco uncover the truth and set her free or will he be her downfall?
