Publisher Description
In this emotional and "gripping rock-star romance that hits all the right notes" (USA Today Happy Ever After), a damaged bad boy fights for a second chance with the love of his life.
I'm no Prince Charming.
Most people know me as the drummer for Nothing but Trouble. Depending who you ask, I'm also a playboy, a loner, the life of the party, a screw-up, or according to my fans, "The Sexiest Rock Star on the Planet." Apparently, I'm a legend.
Am I surprised? Hell, no. It's a reputation I've earned behind my drum kit and behind closed doors. No one thought foster kid Landon Cox would become famous. Infamous, maybe. Notorious, probably. But successful? Never. No one except Piper Hastings. But I had to make a choice: my woman or my career. I picked fame and fortune... and spent every damn day since pretending I don't regret it.
Now fate's dropped Piper back into my life. I want to believe it's a second chance for me - for us. But while I can give her a few great nights, I can't give Piper a future.
Because there's a difference between a legend and a fairy tale... Only one of them ends happily ever after.
"You will love this drama filled emotional read that is full of heated exchanges and heart-pounding romance." -Fresh Fiction on Rock King

Sexy and Entertaining
I enjoyed this sexy, entertaining story. It is the first book I have read by Tara Leigh and now I plan on reading the other books in this series. This is the second book in the Nothing but Trouble series and each book is about a different band member in the rock group, Nothing but Trouble. I enjoyed this feel good, second chance romance and I found it easy to like and relate to the characters.
Piper and Landon were in love but one day Landon left without an explanation. Now, six years later, Landon still regrets his decision to leave Piper. When he left, he broke his heart and Pipers.
Piper is now a public relations assistant to one of the hottest talent managers in Hollywood. She is a strong, independent woman and is she is also sweet and alluring. Piper is not happy when she learns her newest assignment is keeping Landon out of trouble. Her boss expects her to stay by Landon’s side and monitor his behavior. Landon is the drummer for the successful rock band Nothing but Trouble and he is a mess. He has demons and he drinks and hooks up with random women to silence the noise in his head.
Even though Landon and Piper are both successful, they have scars from their past that they are afraid to share with anyone. When Landon and Piper are together they help each other heal and become better people.
I voluntarily read and reviewed an advanced copy of this book. All thoughts and opinions are my own.
Rock star love story. Heck yes
WOW~ Where has Tara Leigh been my entire life... I started Rock King last night and finished Rock Legend on my lunch break today... Who needs sleep... ha~
LOVED this story! This is Landon's tale...
Remember Piper, the perfect mean girl that Delaney grew up with? Well... She is not so perfect and 1000% lovable...
This is the story of how legends meet a fairy tale to get their happily ever after...
Landon met a girl 6 years ago. A college freshmen he fell all in on... Then his manager takes them off as a band, unplugged from everything and he never sees or speaks to her again.
Piper is an employee for Travis, the agent that handles the Nothing But Trouble band.... She has had her heartbroken more than once as this story starts...
Get ready for a wild ride that involves sex, love, rock and roll mixed in with stupid injuries, and addiction. I absolutely loved this story and CANNOT wait for Rock Rebel which is Dax and Verity's story coming out in Dec.
Love Love loved this!
Read it! You will love it too!
Powerful love
This is my first Tara Leigh book, and I have to say, I really enjoyed it. I loved that both Landon and Piper felt like real people who had real problems and made plenty of mistakes while trying to overcome them. I liked the side characters and how the world the author created came to life like a movie screen. Seeing both Landon and Piper grow and develop was fun, and I really liked how everything turned out. This is definitely a series I’d be interesting in reading more of.
