Rock guitarist Nick Davies has just wrapped up a successful U.S. tour and plans to celebrate his favorite way – by taking a beautiful woman to bed. Cruising the hottest NYC nightclub, he’s mesmerized by a flame-haired, green-eyed goddess. Normally, all Nick has to do is crook his finger and a woman comes running, but not this one.

Aisling Waycross doesn’t have time for a well-known womanizer like Nick Davies. After her fiancé cheated on her four years ago, Aisling swore no man would break her heart again. Now a successful television producer, she has little room in her busy life for romance, let alone the one-night-stand she’s sure Nick wants.

But when Nick shows up at her TV studio begging for a date, Aisling surprises herself by agreeing. There’s a vulnerability about him – a stark contrast to the cocky confidence he projects. Nick should be the worst man in the world for her, but as Aisling gets to know him, she realizes there’s much more to this man than music and groupies.

Nick doesn’t believe in love, but being with Aisling forces him to re-evaluate the one-night-stand lifestyle that he’s enjoyed since he became famous. She understands him, and even more remarkable, accepts him for the flawed man he is. But to win her, he’ll have to change his ways. Just as he takes the first tentative steps toward commitment, his reckless past catches up with him and threatens to destroy the only woman he’s ever truly cared about
