Customer Reviews
Fun, "golden age" sci-fi that reads quicker than a trip to Mars
“Son, you are in big trouble.”
“Hey, Floyd’s the one who stole it!”
“But you’re the one they know about.”
Rocket Science was a hoot. It's sci-fi set in post-World War II Kansas and centers around a mild-mannered fellow who quite unexpectedly crosses paths with a super-secret aircraft stolen from the Nazis right under the noses of Army Intelligence. Mayhem ensues. It's fun. Recommended.
If Rocket Science has any problem, it's that the fun stuff doesn't get started until about halfway through the book (after a lot of careful setup that all pays-off), but once you reach the juicy core of this book, it's non-stop, and you'll forget fast that any part seemed slow. It's the quickest read I've had in a long time.
“I am a mistake.”
“I am not supposed to be here.”
“Here on your planet. On Earth.”
“I need help, son”
