Late summer, 2005. Robbie, a young Bourbon Street bartender, meets girls all the time. Pretty girls, funny girls, and––more often than not––drunk girls. So when Mississippi beauty Dinah wanders into his bar and orders a glass of water (diet, on the rocks) he's interested. She's pretty. She's funny. She's sober, and bold, and surprising, and he knows without a doubt he has to see her again.

A blur of lights and ocean and music and thrills unfolds. Roller coasters and dancing on the boardwalk and kissing on the beach. Robbie finds himself falling fast and hard, just as the storm of a lifetime brews off the coast.

As Hurricane Katrina barrels closer and closer, Robbie learns that Dinah's ties to her seaside hometown of Waveland run deep, and he must convince her to evacuate… before it's too late.

The second track of ANTHOLOGY: Love Stories Inspired by Country MusicRoller Coaster is a whirlwind summer romance based on the hit song by Luke Bryan. Fans of Nicholas Sparks won't want to miss it.

About the author:

A California native, Sonja Heisinger has lived and traveled all over the world. She published her first novel when she was just twenty years old. A few years later, she lost both her parents in a car accident, and her brother shortly after. To make sense of her grief, she began to draw and write voraciously. Today she is a professional artist - follow her on Instagram @sonjartsinger - and author of the bestselling Liberty Hill series, a romantic drama set during the California Gold Rush. She currently resides in Georgia with her husband and two boys, and there's nothing she loves more than her family, two-stepping, a fresh pot of French Press coffee, and some good red wine.
