Fascinating, often humerous stories about Andrew Oldham and The Rolling Stones
This e-book is terrific. Andrew Loog Oldham is a great story teller and writer. In this book he tells the story of finding, signing, managing and producing The Rolling Stones and other musicians of the 60s. It is a fascinating story and Oldham is a master story teller. Oldham's previous two books, Stoned and 2Stoned, were good but in "Rolling Stoned" he has reached a new level and the stories have a fresh clarity and humor, very entertaining. The new intro is also a great addition by adding a modern perspective to the story. ALO has obviously honed his craft over the years and the latest result is a thoroughly entertaining read. I highly recommend this book.
Not worth my time.
I’m aStones fan, so I thought this would be a good book with insight about the early Stones I hadn’t read, but it was very hard for me to slog through.mThis book was very repetitive and more concerned with what the author was wearing than any other interesting facts or antidotes.
