Romeo

An investor from Wisconsin falls for a charismatic soccer forward from Manchester, England. She signs him to a losing team. Headstrong and stubborn, he solves her financial trouble in unorthodox ways, playing with fanatical zeal. Soon every game is a sellout, and his admirers dub him “Romeo,” pursuing him with the adoration of a rock star's band of groupies.
