Something to get ya started

Overall this book felt like a good introduction to me. As this book was indeed my first exposure to any sort of an explanation of rootwork and hoodoo, and as the book seemed intended as an introductory volume for practical everyday use, I felt the author could have gone into more details on some of the words. I know the subject could probably fill countless volumes and one could devote a lifetime of study to the subject, therefore I recommend this book. It is enough to peak your interest, but leaves so much remaining mysterious. Give it a try!
