Publisher Description
Is it really so bad to be ruined?
When a cruel prank leaves the blind Rosalind Blake ripe for humiliation on a ballroom dance floor, she is rescued by an infamous rogue. Soon the innocent wallflower is seduced by the charm of Adrian Calwell, the scandal-chased Baron of Norbury, who is much more than he seems.
Adrian's only goal in rescuing Rose was to thwart another man's heartless trick. But Rose proves to be well worth it, and Adrian is impressed by the unusual young lady. Unfortunately, his reputation as a scoundrel makes it unlikely he’ll never be allowed near her again. Not that Adrian has ever let what’s “allowed” stop him for long.
When rumors begin to swirl about Rose’s own reputation and threaten her whole future, Adrian takes matters into his own hands to find the source and defend her honor. It will take all of Adrian's ingenuity and all of Rose’s daring to find the truth and prove to the world that there is a way for a rose and rogue to be together.
The Wallflowers of Wildwood series follows five young women as they leave their beloved boarding school and venture out into the cutthroat world of the marriage mart. Get ready, London. These wallflowers are wilder than you think!

Adrian and Rose
Adrian Marsh is a rake in the process of reforming. When he steps in to rescue Rose at a ball when a cad leaves her standing alone in the middle of the dancefloor, he takes a huge step in the right direction. Rose and Adrian are an interesting couple, and perfect for each other. They seem to see past the surface, her blindness and his reputation (and what caused it), to the wonderful people inside. Rose is intelligent, cheerful, and musically talented. Adrian, the true Adrian, is a strong, compassionate, and protective person. All he has to do is convince Rose’s family that he is not the rake he used to be. This is a story that touches your heart. I love the way Adrian feels when he observes the world as Rose knows it. I enjoy the banter and interaction between Carlos and Poppy. They add a bit of flare to the story. A lovely story with likeable characters (except the aforementioned cad), romance, a hero (two actually) who rescues kittens. Love it!
I voluntarily reviewed an ARC of this book.
What it is, is not. What it is not, it is
This is a wonderfully soul searching story. The 2 main characters are created with great compassion and Depth. A love story of what could be acceptance, yet it is not. This is full of wonder ,excitement, gut wrenching sadness and total love. Just when you could be overcome with sadness you begin to feel great joy. A must read. As for me , it was read in one nite.
