Rose is a rose

A play in one act. Near the end of WWII, Gertrude Stein and Alice B. Toklas are interrupted in their discussion of painters Gertrude championed by, first, a young Ernest Hemingway and, later, a young Resistance fighter. Alice's infamous fudge (or are they brownies?) provides the dramatic resolution of the conflict.
