Communication!
I liked this story and I hope the young folks that read it will take it to heart. Marriage is hard work and it takes more than the excitement one feels at the onset of a new relationship. A lack of communication can cause months even years of heart ache. The parents learned from their mistake with the first daughter (Rose) and held fast to an age appropriate for courting. It was refreshing to see Shawn and Rose grow in their marriage, family and leaders which the community can rely on.

Great story, cute characters, clean, romantic,
Rose
This story contains a lesson on growing up and the importance of being clear in relationships. Rose and her many sisters live an enchanted childhood and are spoiled by their parents. Suitors abound and Rose has her choice of an array of men yet chooses to set her cap for only one man. She determines he will love her, “all the men do.” Dr. Shawn courts Rose for two weeks and is anxious to marry. Having secured her hand in marriage, the wedding takes place a month later. Rose is over the top with happiness - soon shattered on their wedding night when her new husband loves her body but not her. There are other lessons in the book. Sometimes a person is better served to let go of what they believe they want and what “could be” and go forward with what is. Happy reading!
