Created as an introduction to the many varieties of Indian breads, this book covers several basic bread types. It includes examples of leavened and unleavened varieties, griddle-fried and deep-fried varieties, seasoned and stuffed breads as well as dough-based and batter-based breads. It also includes a handful of rustic, gluten-free options. In addition, the book also includes a small section on suitable sides and accompaniments to pair with the breads. Note: Many of the recipes included here have been featured in A Dozen Ways to Celebrate, also by the same author.
