Rough Club

Hanging from the chain is a small container, into which the boy drops a single quarter. I can hear it rattling freely as I am bounced back and forth. With that, he steps back into the crowd, immediately vanishing from view and forcing my attention outward slightly. I am the center of attention, with no one moving to help me. The realization hits me like a splash of cold water: I am topless, helpless, and surrounded by strangers.

Struggling doesn't help much, except for making my breasts bounce against the chain connecting them. Which, I must admit, feels downright fantastic. I try making eye contact with a woman in a tight corset, as if I can communicate 'get me out of here' through my expression. I'm unsure what message she receives, as she steps in front of me and drops another quarter into the can. As if she had paid a due, she leans in to give me a kiss to the cheering of those around us. The fact her lipstick tastes like lavender sticks with me as she pulls away, pulling on the chain with one finger. The two coins rattle against each other as I give up standing on my own, letting my hair fall over my face as I slump in the arms of my captor.
