Royal Mistake #1

This is a great start to Victoria and Andrew's story. In the first series, we have met both of these characters. Andrew is the heir to the throne in Montovia and a very serious guy. He takes his life and position very seriously. Victoria is a reporter who reports for a gossip magazine and has been following the family for years. She's always been drawn to the private Andrew, however, her dealings with him have been less than pleasant. She couldn't be more surprised when he shows up at her job and asks her to come home with him to write his story. When Andrew and Victoria get into an accident they suddenly see different sides of each other.

This is the first book in a six book series about Andrew and Victoria. This book does a great job of setting everything up and I've gotten very excited about what's to come! I can't wait to see what Andrew is hiding and Victoria has secrets, too. I can't wait to see how things unfold for these two! Love the royals!

Loved the book! The ROYAL MISTAKE is about the oldest brother, Prince Andrew, from the royal family of Montovia. Prince Andrew is very arrogant, egotistical, mysterious, overconfident, piously virtuous, and impatient and he does not beg anyone and he has little tolerance for reporters. These adjectives and adverb gives you a good assessment of Andrew, but you may have your own description. Although Andrew is very handsome and debonair, he is also the heir to the throne. Because Mr. Goody Two-Shoes made a mistake when in Prague with his brother, playboy Prince Leopold, now he needs to correct the mistake. Because of the suggestion from his mother, Prince Andrew flies to USA to request the services of Victoria Simpson, a tabloid reporter, to help him. Victoria agrees to fly back to Montovia with Prince Andrew and then their exciting journey begins. The storyline was not a predictable one, and I was never bored when reading it. I loved the banter between Andrew and Victoria—I laughed and grinned like an idiot. The collaboration between Ember Casey and Renna Peak is amazing. The scenes are well written, fast-paced and flow smoothly from one scene to the next. The book will pique your interest and draw you in from the beginning to the very end. So do yourself a favor and buy this book, you will not be disappointed. I cannot wait to read Book 2.

In six books I still couldn’t picture either leads and the redundant plot was exhausting. The ending feels like the author ran out of ideas.
