Excellent author deserves a better editor!
Tricia weaves an entertaining tale with mastery! I only wish she would find an editor who would be more detail oriented. There were several editing errors (not spellcheck issues) throughout the book (and the others in this series) that should have been caught by a proofreader. They can be overlooked, but they were certainly distracting and make the finished product feel un-polished. This author deserves better.
This book has it all - it is fast paced, sexy, and fun!!
There are SO many things that I LOVE about this book.
First of all, the characters in this book are incredibly well-written and well-rounded. They, though flawed, are endearing and engaging and are written in such a way that they leap off the page. Leedom does an incredible job of creating a heroine who *needs* the help of the hero, but is in no way a damsel! (My favorite kind of heroine!) I LOVE that there are moments, in fact, where she ends up saving him. That balance helps to develop a realistic and dynamic relationship between the two main characters where their push and pull is electric and the fire between them is palpable.
Second, the writing and dialogue is witty and clever, creating many laugh out loud and snickering moments. Jimmy is a hoot with his quirky -isms and Southern charm.
Third, this book has it all - it is fast paced, sexy, and fun. It will leave you wanting more, while still delivering a fulfilling story. Read it today (and give a copy to all your friends) - you (and they) will be so happy you did!
Suspenseful
So much twist and turns in this novel. The further you read the more drama and characters were revealed. I'm sure we will read more about some of the character in other novels. Jimmy and Sophie started out on rocky footing but in the end their love saw them thru. Looking forward to reading more of Tricia's books.
