It also makes her a prime suspect in several unsolved murders in her small town, because as soon as Carol steps into the shoes of Carl, women begin to die. When an admiring colleague and love interest at Genetysis labs discovers her secret, and her best friend Andrea begins to suspect the worst, Carol Goodard has to find an answer to the disturbing question: Is my mentally and anatomically transformed alter ego capable of murder?
