I read the entire book in two days.
It was one of those books you don’t want to put down.

This is the true life story of a young man stricken with extreme mental illness. At the age of twenty and in the blink of an eye he was possessed.
The year was 1980 and mental illness was not viewed with the compassion, nor the respect that it is today. In fact it was taboo, mortifying and never a thing you’d share even with the best of friends.
An all American runner and eventual MMA athlete, two time college graduate and yet paralyzed with fear day in and day out. This is the inside story that pulls no punches of the brutality and the consequences of living with this wicked affliction.
Customer Reviews
Personal. Honest. Insightful. Perverted.
This is a personal account, and it gave me a little more insight into their life the way that people who struggle that people with mental struggles can deal with and think through on a daily basis.
To be honest, there were several sexually perverted, sections and chapters, and as someone who is come out of addiction myself, it was a pretty triggering book. If you’re strong enough to screen past foul language, alcohol, and sexual descriptions, the book is insightful and honest, but I would be careful. I had to put the book down because of how frequent these occurrences were.
