Could not put down
There is so much to this book.
I laughed in parts. I cried in parts. I needed a fan in parts (Foster definitely kicked up the steam in this one!)
I couldn't put it down, but I didn't want it to end. Some of the things Tracey and Diesel have to navigate are hard; but they are always there for each other. Foster has an incredible knack for incorporating some very hard aspects of life into her books, but showing us what family should really be about and that with the right support system, anything can be accomplished and overcome.
One of my favorite lines - "Romanced - Diesel style". Every woman should get to experience that!
Favorite of the Series
Running on Diesel is hands down my favorite book of the series! I loved Tracey and Diesel so much. Their banter is so, so funny, the tension is thick, and the sexy times are steamy.
ALL. THE. FEELS
Diesel Black and Tracey Kline finally get their story told by Melissa Foster in Running On Diesel. If you think Melissa has already written the most alpha, overprotective, man EVER then you need to be introduced to Diesel (Desmond) Black!! Holy Moly that man is so alpha and protective of Tracey he just keeps getting hotter with every page you read. Tracey has also fought her share of demons and begins to blossom under the praise of Diesel, her new friends, and the Whiskey’s. Absolutely loved the real story of Diesel and Tracey and not just the HOT as sin between-the-sheets action that Melissa sure can write!! You might want a cold shower ladies!! Oh, keep some tissues handy for those amazingly emotional and heart wrenching scenes too! This story has all the feels. If Running On Diesel is your first Melissa Foster what an amazing story to start with. No need to worry Melissa’s stories are written as stand alones but I will encourage you to go back and read the prior stories as well.*****
