From Liliana Hart’s New York Times bestselling MacKenzie family comes a new story by USA Today bestselling author Robin Covington...
Atticus Rush doesn’t really like people. Years in Special Ops and law enforcement showed him the worst of humanity, making his mountain hideaway the ideal place to live. Lady Olivia Rutledge-Cairn likes to steal things. Raised with a silver spoon and the glass slipper she spent years cultivating a cadre of acquaintances in the highest places. She parlayed her natural gift for theft into a career of locating and illegally retrieving hard-to-find items of value for the ridiculously wealthy. Rush was the one man who tempted her to change her waysuntil he caught her and threatened to turn her in.
MacKenzie Security has vowed to save the girl. Olivia can find anything or anyone. Rush can get anyone out. As the clock winds down on the girl’s life, can they fight the past, a ruthless madman and their explosive passion to get the job done?

Amazing Read
This is the first story I have read by Robin and it will definitely not be my last.
Rush is a novella from The MacKenzie Family series by Lilliana Hart. If I didn't know Robin wrote this story, I would have assumed it was written by Lilliana herself as it flows seamlessly with the MacKenzie series. I loved Livvy and Rush. Their chemistry was sizzling. The sexy scenes were hot. I loved every minute of this novella. I'm only sad it wasn't longer.
Rush -Hot!
RUSH! Sexy, bad, tortured, and damaged - perfect alpha hero! Livvy is his total match! The book begins with these two not together any longer, so I was anxious to read HOW they make their way back. Great suspense and action to read as they find each other again. Love the chemistry and HOT sex between these two. They burn up the page in this fast paced and exciting novella! This is set in the Liliana Hart's MacKenzie world, but it is a total stand alone read. Great story!
Rush and his Lady!
Atticus Rush is a special ops vet, worked in law enforcement and decided people weren't that enjoyable to be around. He spends most of his time in his mountain hideaway in Montana, leaving reluctantly for special assignments for MacKenzie Security. When Brandt Scott, his friend and colleague, appears at his door with no warning, he figures this is one of "those" assignments.
Rush is big, tatted and has no patience for anyone. But, when Brandt
tells him of a young girls kidnapping, a sweet young girl he knows, he's locked and loaded. Rush's specialty is hostage rescue. If they can be found, he'll get them out. This assignment is even trickier because the girl, Katrina, is the daughter of a U.S. senator that Rush feels is a criminal. To add more spice, his ex-wife Lady Olivia Rutledge-Cairn, has been added to the team. She has amazing connections and can find anything. The fact that she often steals it is another story. Rush loved her with everything he is, and still does. He just could not accept that she was a thief.
Livvy has a natural gift.....finding things. She has made a career of locating things and retrieving them by any means possible. She is perfect for this assignment, she is very fond of Katrina also, and has no doubt she can find her. Her first meeting with Rush since their divorce surprises her. He's bigger, badder and even more sexy, if that's possible. She commented "You look like a Viking ready to plunder the shores."
Working this closely together is driving them both crazy! Rush's protective mode has gone into high gear, which makes Livvy want to hit something. But they have to save Katrina. Along the way they realize their hot, sexy relationship is very much alive. It sizzles off the page, and they're still very much in love.
A quick romantic suspense novella which will leave you wanting more.
I received this ARC from the publisher and author for an honest review.
