Rob Scotton's Russell is just fabulous to read! My son and I enjoy Russell the Sheep as much as we enjoy Scotton's Splat the Cat!
I've been reading both to my son since he was a baby and he loves all the drawings as well as verse, even now at 8 years old. The characters are just so endearing and entertaining. Every time we open up the books we find something new to laugh about!
What else can I say other than, "Don't miss the Russell or Splat collections!" Every book has been absolutely wonderful! You will not be sorry! Neither will your child!
