I like this book interesting and engaging

This is the second book in The Crowned Hearts Series and it is a definite page turner. It can be read as a standalone. I suggest reading book one as it gives readers the background to some of the other characters mentioned here. Lev and Daphne are like oil and water with the barbs that just tumble out of their mouths. They are like a married couple who have been together for years with the back-and-forth bantering. It is just one of those connections that neither one wants to admit to feeling but underneath it all, one just knows and, in this case, will fight against it for as long as possible. This is a wonderful love/hate relationship penned beautifully by the authors to pin readers to their chairs as the storyline progresses. There is so much more than sparks that are flying between Lev and Daphne that bring on the heat and once they enter the flames, all bets are off. However, will Lev be able to protect her from the secrets that she is keeping? The authors keep the tension high with this one bringing readers along for an emotional ride. Prepare yourself for this spicy read with twists and turns that will have you staying up late to finish every last word. I recommend this book and cannot wait for more.

Ugh, how do I tell you how much I loved this book without giving you major spoilers??? Let’s just say Lev and Daphne were utterly combustible. Their spice was off the charts and I cannot tell you how much I laughed at how bad her flip flops irritated him. LOL. The McNamee/Anderson duo definitely strikes again—right in the ol’ solar plexus! These authors are pure gold together, but I’m not sure how much more my poor heart can take… oh, who am I kidding? Gimme more, ladies!!
