Subtly riviting
A young woman fiercely pursues the answer to an insipid crime perpetrated against her extended family. An artful investigation accentuated by a personal talent for investigating, keeps the reader wondering how the author is ever going to get the heroine to the correct conclusion. Some thoroughly realistic, if demented, characters.
Easy read. Plot kept it moving.

Predictable but not a bad story. It is a fast read, about three hours, and the action never stops. One of the main charters is a high ranking cop who is a bully with uncontrolled anger issues. As a retired high ranking cop in one of the largest cities in the US I do not think he would have risen to that pay grade. His step daughter is a better cop than he is and that is what drives the story.
