Slow Burn…cliffhanger
Like the first book ends on a cliff, although this book ends on a volcano that might be active soon. Completely different to the first book and slower paced due to the slow burn and new planet. Loved he couple but was hoping for a lot more action in all perspectives.
Fun and exciting
Both Toran and Iris have quite the adventure on and off the planet as they solve mysteries and he claims her as his fated mate. This was a fun and exciting story.

Detyen Warriors
Without a mate, Detyens died at the age of thirty due to an evolutionary trait. Since their home planet of Detya was destroyed, this is a huge problem and their race was on the verge of extinction. The only survivors were the warriors that were off planet the day of its destruction. The remaining legion have vowed to discover what happened to cause the devastation.
As soon as Toran sees Iris he recognizes that she is his denya, his mate. They are both drawn to each other which is tricky since Iris’s job is to assess whether or not the Detyens are a threat to Earth.
