S-Anon Stories: Those Affected by Legal Consequences

This booklet is a collection of recovery stories from spouses, partners, parents, and children who have been affected by the legal consequences of another’s sex addiction.

S-Anon members, along with one former S-Ateen member, share their experiences and the strength they gained through connecting with other members who have been in similar situations. Their stories offer experience, strength, and hope for individuals affected by this issue, while navigating relationships with children, other family members, and the legal system. By applying the Twelve Steps and Twelve Traditions to their challenging situations, they demonstrate that serenity, peace, and even happiness is possible again.

This booklet emphasizes that S-Anon members facing these issues are not alone, and that there is hope and recovery, whether or not the relationship with the sexaholic continues.
