A dazzling new short story featuring Darth Maul, merciless apprentice of evil . . .
On the distant planet Dorvalla, precious ore is mined by two competing companies: InterGalactic Ore and Lommite Limited. Neither rival suspects that they are central to a sinister plot masterminded by Darth Sidious, Lord of the Sith, himself.
Dispatched by Sidious on his very first solo mission, Darth Maul infiltrates Lommite Limited. There, his unique gifts of deception and subterfuge will set off an explosive chain of events that could destroy both companies, leaving them ripe for takeover by the Trade Federation. But a vengeful Lommite Limited Manager with his own thirst for retaliation against InterGal could blow Maul's cover--and all of Sidious's fiendishly layed plans . . .

Strong, short story
A good read for Star Wars fans. Gives some introductory insight to the "inner workings" of Darth Maul. The best reason to read this story is that it enlightens the reader to the involvement of the Trade Federation leading up to Phantom Menace.
James Luceno...what more should I say
With James Luceno, what's not to like. This is a good introduction to Darth Maul. It would have been great back in the days of Episode I to give you more Darth Maul action. Now it is still a good story, but it doesn't do much to expand the Star Wars storyline. Also keep in mind that it is pretty short and sweet. If you read Darth Plagueis, there is a moment in the story where Darth Maul goes on a mission to Dorvalla. This is the complete story of that mission. Now go read Darth Plagueis.
Star Wars quality novella
This Darth Maul short story offers all that is fun and entertaining about Star Wars tales, and harkens from the early days of ebooks - 2001. Enjoy a well-crafted indulgence full of characters and places old and new, and as always, see how all the threads tie together.
I first noticed this ebook-only title listed in the front of a print Star Wars novel, and my only regret is that I didn't read it sooner. Put it in your electronic library today!
