Saga After the Surge is a two part autobiographical account about the anticipated days in September 2008 and August 2017 leading to Hurricane Ike & Hurricane Harvey and the unforgettable events after each storm. This story is a personal outlook told by D. Baxter Smith, recounting his and his close family and friends experience from each storm, and the physical and emotional aftermath of Hurricane Ike & Hurricane Harvey.
