Westwood, CA. A UCLA Teaching Assistant is killed in a hit-and-run accident. But it's not an accident. It's murder.

Chicago, IL. A therapist at a prominent mental health clinic kills his girlfriend and then turns the gun on himself.

O'Hare International Airport. Mary Shaw, aka Kandi, and the love of my life, is fleeing the scene of the murder-suicide when she is hacked. Her electronic life is destroyed and she is trapped with no ticket, no boarding pass, no cell phone, and no credit cards.

Huntington Beach, Surf City USA. An artist named Mike Macdonald receives death threats. He's my father.

Mike and Kandi need my help. The problem is, they don't want it. In fact, they don't want anything to do with me.
